Course Overview
The Naturalist Introductory Course is a short, immersive training designed to introduce school teachers, youth leaders, and nature enthusiasts to the fundamentals of environmental learning and outdoor education.
Hosted under the Young Environmental Scientist (YES) program by Mikoko Development Foundation, this course offers a blend of theory and practice to help educators bring environmental awareness, sustainability, and hands-on learning into schools.
Participants engage in practical activities such as permaculture design, nature observation, child protection and outdoor safety, and small group environmental projects.
