Vision of the organization is to achieve green habitable Tanzania with a balanced ecosystem for all living organisms in peaceful co-existence, the organization is authorized to operate in 26 regions of the United Republic of Tanzania under President’s Office Regional Administration and Local Government. About Young Environmental Scientists

This is the scientific based programs that address possible solution towards creativity and innovation to youth and children communities based on local contents inclusive of outdoor and indoor practical session through Mikoko Trainers who are officially endorsed through Mikoko School Clubs and achieve to become key supporters of children and youth programs at the school level. YES program has range of services to all of its members and non-members under equal opportunity policy that defines equal access to information that is the basic rights to all of Mikoko members. In doing so within a sustainable manner all members required to pay their membership fees to ensure sustainability and quality of services provided by the MDF – Head Quarters through verified means of communication to all members.

Our members are given equal opportunity to access information and space to learn based on practical sessions that help to connect and increase bond between parents, guardians, teachers and our qualified trainers on youth activities and practical education to support patriotism, self-reliance, green jobs, and proper physical and mental development.

 

All members are subjected to the following rights after their official subscription fees known as annual membership fees as provided below;

  1. Annual membership education guide
  2. Beginner’s ID
  3. Discounts coupon provided to Mikoko uniforms and online educational resources.
  4. Discount to official members on every travel naturalist program study tours.
  5. Provided with free tree (shade/fruit) and home garden manual.
  6. Free access to all Mikoko resources and face to face support through Mikoko leaders.

Mostly running a program needs funds and the money that will be collected from Mikoko Shop will directly support running of Young Environmental Scientist activities at national to local levels. Through the collected funds mostly will support to pay program technical fees, program running cost, program staff who dedicated their time to support our youth and children become successful in their life.

 

As we all know that our youth need to become self-sustenance through self-reliance education with ability to create and innovate new technologies as program advocate all of its members to become aware of their environment and allow themselves to acquire new knowledge and skills that will help them become problem solvers at family to national level as strong leaders. Mikoko shop is giving connection to guardians and parents for motivate their children in a way that they all become aware of what is taking place in our human and natural world, as the program also aims to connect community with nature as primary investment goal to achieve.
